Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you sell gift cards?
- Yes — any amount, available at the counter in both Albany and Berkeley. It is the safest choice if you are not sure what they would pick.
- Can you ship a gift?
- We do not run an online store, but we will pack and ship a piece for you if you buy it in person or arrange it with us directly.
- What if they already have that stone?
- Every specimen is one of a kind, the color, the flash and the habit never repeat, even in the same species from the same mine.
- Can I return something?
- Come in with the piece and the receipt and we will make it right — exchange or store credit. Talk to us and we will sort it out.
- Are your stones ethically sourced?
- Yes. Tashi travels to the mines and markets himself (India, Brazil, Thailand, Burma), to hand-select pieces directly. We only stock specimens we are proud to stand behind.
